What CheckMy.llc Is

CheckMy.llc is a free informational tool that helps LLC owners check whether their Operating Agreement meets their state's statutory requirements. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.

What We Collect

CheckMy.llc is a static website. Your questionnaire answers are processed entirely in your browser and are NOT sent to any server or stored in any database.

We may collect:

  • Email address — only if you voluntarily enter it on the email capture screen. Used to send you a copy of your results. We do not sell or share your email.
  • Analytics data — we use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site. This includes anonymous usage data such as pages visited, time on site, and device type. No personally identifiable information is collected by analytics.
  • Cookies — Google Analytics may set cookies. No other cookies are used by CheckMy.llc.

What We Do Not Collect

  • We do not store your questionnaire answers on any server.
  • We do not upload, read, or analyze your Operating Agreement document.
  • We do not sell your data to anyone for any reason.
  • We do not share data for advertising or cross-app tracking.
  • We do not use your data to train machine learning models.

Email Communications

If you provide your email address, you may receive:

  • A copy of your compliance scorecard results
  • Occasional educational content about LLC governance (you can unsubscribe at any time)

We use Mailchimp to manage email communications. You can unsubscribe from any email with one click.

Third-Party Services

CheckMy.llc uses the following third-party services:

  • Google Analytics (GA4) — anonymous site usage analytics
  • Mailchimp — email communications (only if you provide your email)
  • FastComet — website hosting

We do not use any advertising networks, retargeting pixels, or data brokers.

Data Retention

Since questionnaire answers are processed in your browser and not stored on our servers, there is no data to retain or delete.

If you provide your email address, it is stored in our Mailchimp account until you unsubscribe.

Your Rights

You may:

  • Unsubscribe from emails at any time
  • Request deletion of your email from our mailing list
  • Contact us with any privacy questions
